On the morning of Saturday, November 12th, the tenants of Wingreen Court stood in solidarity, united as one, ready to make a stand to defend our homes.
The support for each other was overwhelming.
We shared our stories and grievances of where Trivest Property Management has failed to provide basic services, stories about how many years we have lived here, the people we have seen come and go, the bylaw infractions we continue to endure, and the sheer injustice of our landlord, Wingreen Court LP to make seniors, single mothers, people with disabilities, widows and widowers, and people undergoing treatment for serious illnesses leave their homes during the holidays, in the middle of winter!
We stood in the cold, early winter morning, out in the daylight for all to see that we are here, we are not going anywhere, we will not be driven out of our homes.
Together, we voted to establish the Wingreen Tenants Association.
